About Veritas M-Biomed

Engineering for safer, more reliable care.

Our background & field experience

Our work covers maintenance, repair, installation and the ongoing management of healthcare technology, supported by practical field experience and a clear understanding of clinical environments.

Veritas M-Biomed was established to give healthcare facilities in Malawi a dependable technical partner for their medical equipment. We ensure essential devices remain safe, calibrated, and ready for clinical staff whenever a patient requires care.

Mission

To keep medical equipment safe, reliable and available so that healthcare providers can focus on patient care.

Vision

Healthcare facilities across Malawi supported by medical technology that is well managed, well maintained and fit for the long term.

Our values

The principles that guide every job we do.

01

Engineering integrity

We say what the equipment needs, not what is convenient to sell, and we document the work we do.

02

Safety first

Equipment is returned to service only when it is safe to use in a clinical setting.

03

Reliability

Planned maintenance and clear records reduce surprises and keep equipment available.

04

Practical field experience

We work where the equipment is used, and we shape our approach around real conditions on site.

05

Respect for people

We explain findings in plain language and train the staff who will use the equipment.

06

Sustainability

We favour repair, sensible replacement and maintenance practices that extend equipment life where that is the right answer.

Our engineering approach

How we work on every engagement.

A structured, transparent process — applied consistently whether it's a planned service visit or an urgent fault call.

01

Assess

We inspect the equipment and the situation on site, and establish what is actually needed before any work begins.

02

Plan

We set out the scope, the parts and skills involved, and the schedule, so the facility knows what to expect.

03

Carry out the work

Maintenance, repair, installation or commissioning is completed and checked against the agreed scope.

04

Record and follow up

Work is documented, findings are reported, and any further attention is scheduled.

We support hospital biomedical departments and clinical teams with planned maintenance, repair and equipment management across departments.

Government

We work with government institutions on medical equipment servicing, assessment and technical input for procurement decisions.

NGOs and Partners

We support NGOs, UN bodies and development partners with equipment servicing, commissioning and technical reporting on health projects.

Research

We help research organisations keep their equipment maintained, calibrated and ready for use between studies.

Private Providers

We provide private healthcare providers with maintenance and repair support that does not require them to build an in-house technical team.

Our commitment

Reliable equipment. Safer care.

Every device we touch undergoes thorough technical verification and calibration testing so clinical teams can provide care with total confidence.
